Glenmarie Golf & Country Club Interclub Swimming Competition 2013

Cik Ya's swimming coach, Coach Azman Misbah of Fast Swimming Academy organised a swimming competition today at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club.  There were swimmers from a few other clubs as well and mostly are children. Some are really good as they've been trained for many years.

Cik Ya, age 9, whom had joined his swimming program since December 2012 was given a chance to participate too. For your info, Coach Azman is a certified swimming trainer. He has over 15 years of experience coaching swimming to kids as well as the Malaysian paralympic swimming team.  Adult classes are also available.

Although Cik Ya did not win anything, but she managed to finish the 50m lap without stopping. That's really something to be proud of for a beginnner! Gotta work out on the stamina. Good job, girl! ~kd~

Nubian Goat's Milk

Another daily consumption nowadays - embekkk milk. Never come across my mind to consider the  goat's milk, maybe because of the 'good smell'. Orang kata hamis bau susu kambing ni.

Thanks to Dazzling Dna yg wat bukak mata nak try. Baru lah celik mata banyak baiknya susu ni, antaranya low fat- sesuai benar sesapa  yg takut weight scale terbalik meter, high calcium - tulang jadi sihat & kuat, lambat lagi la nak pakai gigi palsu .Hehe..boost immunity system, new born baby tak kena jaundice etc.

Bila consistent minum, notice my eczema makin baik. Kalau tak,tangan/ jari ni sensitif sangat, kering, cepat gatal bila kena habuk / kena sabun yg kuat mcm fab. Nak salam dengan org pon dah tak malu, almaklum le, dah licin cantik..

Serasi minum brand Nubian , selain packaging yg cantik, tak bau 'kambing' langsung. Agaknya dah pasturise elok2 & tak de hal nak minum sebotol. Campur milo & quarker oats nak penambah perisa.

Giant ada supply Nubian, tapi mcm chipsmore, kejap apa kejap tak de. So get my supplies at Village Groccer, Giza Mall. RM5 sebotol @200ml.

Special fridge just for Nubian. Supplier hantar once a week & cepat je habis. Pat pat sapa cepat dia dapatt! Sekali borong cukupkan utk 1 week nya supply.

One Quirky Shoes

The Aussies call 'em Gumboots and the English call 'em Wellingtons. Here we call 'em Phua Chu Kang Boots. Whatever you wanna call it, its certainly one quirky and funky boots.  This is my new boots for me to wear during my wet market trips...idak le kaki kena simbah dengan air ikan lagi lepas ni.  Although our country has got lots of rain, the only gumboots available here comes in yellow and black...so unfashionable! So finally i got mine from e-bay UK for £4.99. Ada le bangla & indon kat pasar tu ngorat boots saya ni nanti..Cute kan? ~kd~

Kalau tak nak rasa semput, duduk lah kerusi biasa tu. Red sofa ni comfy untuk takat lepak2 minum air/dessert. Kalau main dish, alamatnya payah la nak bangun.

My pick --) Nasi Goreng Tomyam. Kurang kick, tomyam paste tak rasa sangat and tak pedas.

Phad Thai for my bos & the reason why we came back. Yummss

Dessert for bos - Waterchestnut,  & he like it. Licin abes di korek kelapa tu

Recommend kalu try clear tomyam & sweet sour fish. Besstaa you ols..Boleh try ramai2 nanti bila korang free eh?

Lepas baca posting ni kat FB, semangat kental nak try. (Dah pempuan kan, apa2 tips cantik/kurus confirm mata berpinar2 nak buat :)

Dah jadi daily routine pepagi siap kan air suam dengan 1 / 2 slice lemon.

Curves - Ladies Only

Dear BFF,

Saya cuba maintain pegi Curves at least 3 times a week. Woot woot..bukan shopping mall tu okey... ni Curves - a.k.a gym for ladies only.

Lama dah mencari2 mana la tempat nak bakar lemak2 tepu ni, last2 jupa jodoh dengan Curves Bukit Damansara. Apa yg best kat sini :

1) Ladies ONLY.. tak yah segan2 nak all out buat work out. Yg bertudung, free hair je time peluh2 sakan. 

2) Each session, spend only 30 sec on each machine. Between each machine is a recovery board to jog/walk/aerobics with the purpose to maintain the heart rate and ensure the calories are burning throughout the entire workout. Full work out take about 30 mins / 2 complete rounds. 

Unlike normal gym, u will spend at least 20 mins for each machine right? So boring + tiring!

After completing on the circuit, continue to do the stretching exercise :

 

3)The coach will guide and motivate during the session. Tak de chance nak malas2.

 (yeah..yeahh..u can do it..keep it up!)

 

4) Starting Dec 2012, Curves Smart system (fitness tracking gadget) was introduced. Just tab the smart ID tag before start on each machine. 

Nak tahu betul ke buat work out dengan teknik yg betul, calories burn -tengok pada result yg system generate. Kalau green dotted colour maksudnya Baguih! u are on track..calories pon burn dengan cantik..Berapa total calories burn pon dapat tengok jugak.

Kalau dotted colour kuning, tu kena improve lagi. Either teknik pakai machine tak kena...tak pon mengelat time work out la tu! Hahaaa...no cheating with Smart Curves :)

 

5) Once a month, amek measurement, timbang berat, ukur lilit badan, check body fat. Coach akan call kalau agak2 dah lama jejak gym.

Kat Bukit Damansara, diorang selalu buat challenge i.e maintain 3 times a week, wear any pink on Monday etc..& dapat la reward...Interesting!!

Ladiessss! Tengok hasil tangkapan terkini during my lunch trip to Guardian tadi - REVLON Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain.  "Ter"beli sebab its sooo cute, cam seketul crayon yang gemuk.  Its a mint scented coloured lip balm that moisturises, easy to apply and surprisingly the colour actually last for hours. Comes in 12 shades and my fav is Honey...pinkish natural gitu. RRP: RM32.90 jek before discount...sebab murah, tak sayang nak pakai sebelum ke pasar, masuk dapur atau mop lantai..hehe...
