10 things we miss about Oz

Rindu....rindu....rinduuuu....it's been 15 years since we all left Oz. We were all scattered in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Wagga Wagga & Tassie...but we all kept in touch using Telstra's unlimited weekend call rate..baper eh? Tak ingat dah, but filthy cheap..boleh mengadu nasib pasal boyfriend, school, friends etc. etc.for hours!  Jom imbas kenangan in the Land Down Under...

1.  Big M - macam macam flavours ada..sedap lak tu...stok wajib ada dalam fridge. 

2.  Kebab - the best tasting kebabs are in Oz...maklumlah tukang buat nya are Turks, Iranian...memang authentic recipe la gitu. Juicy meat, crunchy lettuce, tabouleh & tahini sauce...yummy! (Sabarina, ingat tak t-shirt ko tulis DKNY - bila tengok dekat2 rupanya2nya Doner Kebab Near You daaa..haha..branded la sangat!)

3.  Fish and chips - no frills fish & chips usually wrapped in white paper kalau tapow.  Served with lemon and tartare sauce. Fresh fish, usually dory or cod +  thick cut fries...sedapnya!

4.  Cadbury Freddo - Sapa ingat si katak ni?? Tiap bulan time beli groceries mesti rembat satu pack..either Freddo Milk Chocolate or Koala Caramel. 

5.  Pavlova - First time makan Pavlova ni masa kat Oz lah...topped with all the fresh berries and summer fruits...

6.  Gold Coast - Movie World, Sea World, Dream World...tak khatam Oz kalo tak jejak kaki ke sini weh...and lucky for us Brisbanian, habis exam jek tenet kat Gold Coast...hehehe...

7.  Great Ocean Road - and the highlight is this 7 Apostles.  Semua travel brochure Oz ada gambar ni.  

8.  Markets - Oz memang famous for markets that usually sells fresh farm produce, arts and crafts, bric-a-brac, and all homemade stuffs (am thinking of the delicious caramel fudge right now).

9.  Lay by - Sapa pernah buat lay by kat Myer, David Jones, K-Mart...maklumlah zaman student mana ada credit card..so layby is the thing...we pay a minimum deposit & bila elaun masuk baru pegi bayar in full & ambik barang.

10.  And finally, bila pokok Jacaranda ni in full bloom at our universities, that means EXAM time!!!!! What a pretty sight kan?

Tempat jatuh lagi dikenang, inikan pula tempat bermain ( & to some, berdating sambil bagi makan itik), iye dakkk??
